The multi-polar structure of ICTPOL provides a R&D network for the area of polymeric materials, with active centres in various universities, laboratories and institutes. Besides providing direct support for national industry and co-ordinating development projects which are often of a confidential nature, ICTPOL also promotes the execution of internal research projects following strategic scientific guidelines and participates in national and international R&D projects, thus maintaining a vast network of colaboration abroad.
